About

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Counselor Association is a professional organization comprised of Regional Admission Counselors based in the Mid-Atlantic who represent Colleges and Universities across the country.  We work to assist each other in counseling students for post-secondary education. MARCA members collaborate with high school, transfer, and independent counselors through programs and informal sessions educating students about post-secondary and community college opportunities. 

We also work to support new regional representatives in the Mid-Atlantic territory and offer guidance to colleges and universities who are considering adding a regional representative in the Mid-Atlantic. 

As of April 2024, the Mid-Atlantic Counselor Association became a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the State of Virginia.
